European Archives for Seventh-day Adventist History, Collonges
The European Archives for Seventh-day Adventist History were created by the Euro-Africa Division of Seventh-day Adventists. The archives include two sections: one in Friedensau (Germany) and one in Collonges-sous-Salève (France). The section in Collonges-sous-Salève comprises historical records documenting the history of Adventism in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the French-speaking part of Switzerland, and Italy. The headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spain and Portugal each have archives dependent on the section of Collonges-sous-Salève.
The Collonges archives are located in the basement of the Alfred Vaucher Library (Saleve Adventist University). It contains many documents, books, magazines, pamphlets, photos, and objects that highlight the history of the Adventist Church in Europe. These documents come from different administrative entities of the Adventist church and from private donors.
